the room are excellence, great location, clean and with friendly staff.

Very close to train station, 7/11 for late night foods and some restaurant around hostel offer very good foods as well. These are only hostel with attached water in the toilets during my stay in Taiwan.

Nice location, good Price, Super clean.The coffee shop is really good. Cheap bicycle rental.

Location. The appeal I guess is the opportunity to interact with other people and get real information ( informed). In our case we got half the info on a tour and only stumbled upon critical aspects on how to book it) otherwise would have missed out.Cross the road from the station. Elevator

When hostels/ hotels keep arriving guests waiting to check (till the last minute) for no good reason ( other than they can) I think they are just not appreciating that these travellers have travelled far and chosen to stay at their establishment. I get it they need to clean the room, however, departing guests need to strip their beds of linen and towels and move them to a container in the hall 4 hours before, so there is very little to do. Anyway, I didn’t like the catacomb like room. Absolutely nothing you can do in your room except slide into your little boxs. Here you are paying the same price as a descent hotel with amenity.No towel ( extra money)Water in corridor.indifferent staffToast, cheese meat and jam spreads for breakfast. No atmosphere common area around check in second floor. Cutesy messages and drawings on walls in the corridors means nothing to me, it doesn’t make the place any more appealing when it’s not possible to spend time in your catacomb. Yes saw the pictures on BC but I underestimated UGH. 3 bunk dorm for two.No room to do anything or put luggage except under 1 bunk. A$110/ night.

Dedicated and caring front desk staff. Great pricing, especially for private rooms when available. Well-designed building.

Hostel is not very social. Broken curtain in my dorm room so had to switch rooms. Bottom bunk has low headroom. Barebones breakfast.

Clean, quirky and central location. Free breakfast is simple but nice!

Good location. Room was of moderate size. Good communal kitchen. Liked the 3-D artwork in the stairway.

Very friendly staff and a hostel one can tell they put a lot of thought. Everything clean and tidy, comfy beds and a nice bathtub reminding of a hot spring basin

The room was very clean and inexpensive and well located next to both the rail and bus stations. The staff were helpful and there was a good coffee shop underneath the hotel. We found the accommodation available at short notice as a typhoon had delayed our train.

There was nowhere to put luggage or hooks to hang items. You are literally living out of a suitcase. We skipped the breakfast as it looked unappetising.

Great location, right in front of the train station and walkable to most city's attraction.Communal lounge is big with multiple set of seating for various need, including a full kitchen for guests' use.

Dusty, very dusty. Ended up with major allergy reaction.The value is horrible for a bunk bed, extremely overpriced.

Very helpful personal, easy check-in/out.Was relatively quite.

My charger was so loose in the outlet, that it was quite difficult to keep it in the right spot and not have the loading process interrupted all the time.

Location was amazing, just about 3 mins walk off the Hua Lien train station! There are many shops around it like 7-11, some eateries and even a bus station nearby. Check in is quick and hassle-free, you can store your luggage near the reception area and there is a big resting area near it too. We will definitely be booking this place when we are back!

Would be more ideal if they have added some shelves to put our toiletries in the showering area.

We can see Hualien train station from our hostel window. Facilities were good. Staff were friendly. The hostel gave TWD50/pax for breakfast and at the same time provided simple breakfast at the dining area which were very much appreciated. They kept our bags upon checking out until we came back from our day tour. Excellent stay

The room was perfect and clean. Staff is very helpful, polite and understanding during and after our stay.

Positive, welcoming staff, knowledgeable, interested and helpful. Location just a walk across the square outside Hualien station. Bus to Taroko Gorge leaves from the bus station on the same square. Very convenient. They have free bikes, you can cycle around Hualien in no time. Single room on the 8th floor had a huge bathroom with shower, bunkbed accessible by built stair/wooden levels(!) small window from the bedside towards cityview, room under the bunkbed big enough to place your own bike if you brought one.TV. Lounge/ desk one floor up from street level with lots of windows towards the outside, big space and places to sit alone or mix with others. Simple brakfast toast with cheese and ham. Free coffee and tea. Ramen/ snacks/ drinks for sale. Great place.
